Manage an Award

Your department or the VP&S Grants Management Services will help you manage grants that have been awarded.

The Principal Investigator of a grant is ultimately responsible for all aspects of a project. However, your department will help you with post-award activities, including:

  • Performing quarterly financial reviews
  • Managing subawards
  • Effort reporting
  • Submission of progress reports
  • Award closeout

Several VP&S departments utilize the Grants Management Services to perform these functions.  You can use an online form to determine whether the Grants Management Services provide post-award support to your department. If you are still unsure who provides post-award support for your department, please contact your department/division administrator.
