Research compliance is generally handled by Columbia's Office of the Executive Vice President for Research (EVPR), which oversees research activities at all Columbia schools. The Clinical Trials Office, Environmental Health and Safety, Human Research Protection, IACUC, and several other regulatory bodies are managed by the EVPR.
