Writing Specific Aims Workshop

The most important section for the development of a NIH grant application is the Specific Aims section. This section becomes the master plan for the rest of your proposal and a key part that all the reviewers will likely read. This workshop provides insight into the elements of an effective and strong Specific Aims section.

“Writing Specific Aims” is designed for all researchers who plan to submit a K or R NIH grant in time for the three major NIH due date cycles (February, June, October). Applicants submitting resubmission applications (March, July, November) are also welcome to attend.

Sessions are typically held in November (for February deadlines), March (for June deadlines), and July (for October deadlines). Check the VP&S Events page 1-2 months for registration information before the scheduled session.
