28. Biomarkers Shared Resource
The Biomarkers Laboratory provides consultation on sample (blood, urine, saliva, bone marrow) collection and processing, preprinted-bar code labels, isolation of PBMCs and other blood aliquots, storage in -80oC or liquid nitrogen and retrieval as needed. DNA/RNA is extracted using various protocols. It also carried out assays including those using commercial ELISA kits, candidate SNP genotyping, telomere length, extracellular vesicle isolation and miRNA/mRNA expression analysis on 384 well plates or arrays.
