4. High-Throughput Screening

HTS Core team

The High-Throughput Screening Facility is designed to expedite new discoveries in science and catalyze new translational strategies.  The facility provides researchers with state-of-the-art tools for small molecule and genomic discoveries.  An experienced staff leads users through all stages in the process from assay design and development, through execution and data analysis. The screening facility offers access to large libraries of small molecules and tools for RNAi experiments.  The facility also has instrumentation which can be utilized by the community as open access instruments, allowing the community to run small experiments on their own.  These open access instruments include reagent dispensers, compound dispensing tools, plate readers and high content imaging systems.  The HTS facility has also developed a number of tools for high throughput genomics, including PLATE-Seq, a high throughput sequencing technology developed in the Department of Systems Biology
