1. Department of Microbiology and Immunology Core

The Department of M&I Core assists researchers by providing three flow cytometers. The LSRFortessa and LSR II are designed for multi-fluorescence analysis while the FACS Aria II high-speed cell sorter is capable of rapid sorting of cells and other small particles based on multiple parameter characteristics into pure populations.  

In addition, the facility also has a Zeiss LSM710 confocal imaging microscope system, a Zeiss AxioVert microscope, and a Typhoon Trio imaging system.
