21. Lamont Stable Isotope and Trace Metal Laboratory

La,ont Stable Isotope and Trace Metal Lab Photo

The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory stable isotope and trace metal laboratory houses five mass spectrometers for the analyses of hydrogen, nitrogen, carbon and oxygen isotopes in carbonates, tooth enamel, bulk organic, tree cellulose and organic compounds et al..

Our lab also houses two inductively coupled plasma spectrometers (ICap Q and ICP-OES) for the analysis of various trace elements.

The laboratory is directed by Dr. Braddock Linsley ([email protected]; 845-365-8306 and managed by Dr. Wei Huang ([email protected]; 845-365-8143).
