39. Database Shared Resources

Database Shared Resource Team and Logo

The DataBase Shared Resource (DBSR) central function is to procure and maintain a repository of human biological samples, clinical data and epidemiologic data from patients at risk for cancer or with cancer for distribution to investigators. We provide oversight and infrastructure for a centralized, cost-effective, and well-characterized cancer-related clinical database. We can link tissue and biospecimens to clinical data/outcomes as well as extract clinical data from existing resources (i.e., NYPH Tumor Registry, Clinical Data Warehouse).

Services: Implement investigator-initiated research requests to consent, access clinical data and/or biospecimens for research purposes.
