44. Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA)
The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) supports Columbia’s research community by enhancing postdoctoral trainees’ professional training and development experiences and offering in-depth guidance and resources to the Columbia University community on matters pertaining to postdoctoral affairs.
OPA supports postdocs through the following services:
New postdoc orientation sessions; career and professional development programs, workshops and events; 1-on-1 career counseling appointments; wellness programs, workshops, and events; 1-on-1 wellness appointments for postdocs and PIs; partnering with the Columbia University Postdoctoral Society (CUPS); postdoc affinity groups; the Postdoc Career Network; and grants and funding support.
