26 & 27. Zuckerman Institute (ZI) Scientific Platforms

The Zuckerman Institute (ZI) Scientific Platforms teams work in close partnership with ZI Investigators to push the limits of knowledge through advanced methods, technology, and training. We focus on education, tool building, and technology development, all aimed at making cutting-edge experiments a reality. Our group’s activity and interdisciplinary expertise facilitate the bridging of communities and methods that allow for the creation and deployment of methods that directly contribute to higher performance research that is reliable, robust, and reproducible. We design, build, test, and support custom instrumentation and protocols where commercial solutions don’t exist. Through interactions and engagement with the researchers within and outside ZI, we aim to be a repository of information, protocols, and methods for the ZI, and more broadly, a hub of innovation that fosters communication and enables advanced interdisciplinary research around the University and beyond.
